Login Problems: If you are experiencing problems logging on, make sure that your browser and security software has cookies enabled. Temporarily disable your firewall and security software and try to login. If successful, then adjust your settings. If still not successful, try logging on from a different computer and determine what security/firewall settings are different.
Account Activation: This first time you log in, you will be asked to verify your mobile number. To do this, we send you a text message with a random code. You then submit this code on the website and you can start texting immediately. An email will be sent to inform you whether or not your account has been successfully activated.
Activation Code: We text an activation code to your phone. You should receive it immediately. Please check that you have signed up with the correct mobile number. It is very easy to drop a digit or mistype it. International format should start with the country code, 44 for UK, 1 for US, etc. There should not be a zero after the country code. If you used the wrong number format, sign up for a new account with the correct number. If you are sure you used the correct number, please email us.
Confirmation Email: We send an email to you when you signup. This email has a link which you must click. If you can't click the link, copy and paste it into your web browser. If you don't get the email you probably mistyped your address. Log in to your account and submit a new email address.
Sending Messages from the Web: Go to www.AQmobile.com, log in with your number and password and send text messages. It's quite simple. Type the numbers of the recipients or use ones you've stored in your contacts list. Type the message and send. You can send as many messages as you have credits for. Messages appear as if you sent them from your phone. Replies go directly back to your phone.
Message Charges: Message costs
depend on the network and country that you are sending to. Most destinations are 6 cents, but
some countries cost a few cents more.
Check the coverage page to confirm the cost. You can send texts up to 459 characters long. For texts longer
than the standard length of 160 characters, you are charged for
each 153 characters or fraction thereof. As you type a message, you are able to
see how long your message is.
All messages sent through our gateway are charged, but delivery is not
guaranteed. Use your free message credits to verify that this service works
with the networks you need.
Message Reports: In your account you can see message reports for each month. This will show recipient number, time it was sent, if it was delivered, and what the charge was.
Coverage & Not Receiving Messages: We can send messages to over 200 countries and
over 500 networks. For a complete list of countries and networks,
visit the coverage page.
If a
message shows up as sent and the network is listed on this site, but wasn't
received, then email us with the number and network. We recommend that you
try texting another number on the same network, because sometimes there are
problems with individual handsets. Also make sure the receiving phone is on,
does not have a full inbox, and is not roaming.
Account Changes: You can change your password and email address at anytime in the web control panel.
Contacts & Groups: Just like an address book, you can store names and numbers to send messages via the web very quickly. You can also create a group of numbers if you text the same group of people quite often. You can add, delete, and edit names and groups anytime.
Buying Credits: We accept credit cards via PayPal, but you don't need a PayPal account. Prepaid credits are sold in amounts of 10 and 25 in pounds, euros, or dollars. See pricing page for details. Purchases are not transferable nor refundable. If you run out of credits, messages cannot be sent. Please use your free credits to confirm that this service works for the numbers you send to.
